Annual Meeting of The Trails Home Owners Association will take place on Monday, April 22nd, 2024 at the Clubhouse from 7 pm onwards.
This annul meeting's primary purpose is to elect 4 Board of Directors. If you would like to volunteer and run for The Board, please reach out to The Manager (manager@thetrailsroselle.com). Nominations are due at 5 pm on Friday, March 29th, 2024.

Doggy Swim day & Pool Closing
We reached to the end of the Swimming Pool usage season for 2023. So lets bring our furry friends to have their turn in The Trails Swimming Pool. The Doggy Swim Day would be held between 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, 05 September 2023. Every resident dog owner who would like to participate in this event along with his/her dog, must register here before and fill and sign this downloadable Waiver form. Waiver Forms will be available at the event as well. Please note that the Swimming pool regular operations close for the season on Monday, 04 September at 8 pm.
Fall Garage Sale time
Trails Community Garage Sale would be held from Friday, 08 September through Sunday, 10 September 2023. Trails HOA would setup the Sign Board at major roads leading into The Trails. You are free to setup your own sign boards as well but please remember to pick them up after the garage sale ends.
Additional Raffles and Special Raffles at the Summer Bash.
Additional raffles tickets for the Neighborhood business sponsored prizes can be purchased for $1 a ticket through the event.
There are few Big Ticket Prizes & a 50/50 bucket for which raffle tickets ($5 a ticket) can be purchased from now through the draw time on the Summer Bash. You can buy the raffles tickets in advance from 5 - 8 pm from the Clubhouse's game supervisor all remaining days of this week and on Saturday during the event.
Funds raised from the 50/50 bucket will be split between the winner and the Trails social committee which shall use funds to cover some of the Summer Bash expenses.
Big Ticket Raffles will include prizes such as 2 youth Bikes, 2 teen bikes, an LED TV, BT Speaker, Air Fryer, Kitchen Mixer, etc..
All the above raffle tickets have no cap on the number of tickets one can purchase.
Summer Bash spot registrations would be open during the first hour ( 1 to 2 pm on Saturday 5th August, 2023) the bash only to allow the volunteers as well to enjoy the bash and not just work the registration desk. Those who haven't gotten a chance to register yet but would like to attend the Summer Bash, this is your opportunity. Those who haven't picked up their wristbands and raffle tickets, can pick them up as well at the Spot registration desk.

Early bird and online registrations are now closed. Online registrations are now closed. You may still register in person at the Trails Office through the day of the event. ?If you have registered to attend the Summer Bash by 23rd July, you are eligible for early bird wristbands and raffle tickets (two raffle tickets per person) pickup. Please pick them up at the Clubhouse from 24th July through 28th July between 5 pm and 8 pm. If you fail to pickup during this schedule, you would only be eligible to get one raffle ticket per person attending.
Are you ready for the Biggest Annual Festival at The Trails ?
Mark your calendars. The big day is Saturday, the 5th of August, 2023 from 1 to 6 pm. Few fantastic new attractions and entertainment are being added to this year's summer bash to bring variety and excitements into this wonderful community. All residents and owner members of The Trails HOA can participate in this event. The food, Soft drinks, Attractions, Activities, Fun, Entertainment and some Raffle prizes are the compliments of The Trails HOA and Sponsoring neighborhood businesses. Community Garage Sale is on June 9, 10 & 11.
We are in the process of registering our entire community on the garage sale map with the Village of Roselle for village wide garage sale which falls on the same dates. Residents don't need to register separately with Trails HOA. If you would like to register your home address on the garage sale map with the Village, you may approach the roselle village hall directly and register by paying $5.
Trails Board Annual Meeting Notice
The Annual Meeting of the voting members of The Trails Association Inc. will take place on Monday, April 24, 2023.
The purpose of the meeting is:
1. To elect nine (9) directors – five to serve terms of two (2) years and 4 to serve one (1) year term; and
2. To conduct such other business as may properly come before the meeting.

Super Bowl Social was a Super Hit
There was an increased interest to attend the super bowl social and it was evident with the number of members turned in to the event on February 12th, 2023. Thanks to our sponsors Rosario's for pizzas and wings. There were winners in our clubhouse too. The raffle draw was the major attraction. More pics are on the Events page.
The Trails Holiday Lighting Contest Winner is here.
Holiday lighting Contest is concluded at The Trails. Our members have voted and selected a wonderful holiday lighting display as the winner for this season. We had wonderful participation from many residents in the contest and voting. There were two homes which gave tough competition to each other. But the home at 541 Bryce Trails has turned out the be the Winner.
Trails Kids Christmas Party is scheduled.
Trails HOA is pleased to announce that the annual Kids Christmas Party will be held on 16 December 2022, from 6 pm to 8 pm, inside the clubhouse. Please RSVP before 12/12 by filling the form.
Please note that this is NOT a DROP OFF event. Kids must be accompanying by an adult. Snacks, drinks would be available. Balloon & face painting artist would be present. Santa would be giving away gifts. Please feel free to take pictures. No pets please.
New HOA Manager has taken charge effective 31 October 2022
Diane Esmael has taken over as the Trails HOA manager from Kimberley Kraig effective 31st October 2022. Kim has moved out of Illinois due to her personal commitments. Diane comes with years of property management and association management experience. She is a certified association manager. Swimming Pool closed for the season on 18 September 2022. Followed by Doggy Swim from 4 pm to 6 pm on the same day.
Trails Community Garage Sale is on September 09, 11 & 12.
We will be putting up common signboards are major feeder roads. In addition, you can also send your addresses to webmaster@thetrailsroselle.com if you like your addresses to be published on our website as well as social media page on Facebook.
The Summer Bash was a super hit.
Hundreds of residents gathered at the Trails summer bash despite scorching heat and humidity on 6th August, 2022. Food was amazing. We had about 600 attendees. Many of them won fantastic raffles prizes, thanks to our wonderful sponsors. Kids had so much fun on the inflatables. Most importantly the Live music was engaging and ear pleasing through out.
Trails Community Garage Sale is from 10 June to 12 June 2022
It's time to let go of the unused stuff occupying your car's parking space in your garage. Trails Community Garage sale is from Friday 10 June to Sunday 12 June 2022. Trails HOA would have the Garage Sale boards placed at the major Trails Feeder Road entrances. Residents can have their own signs to drive the traffic as needed. In addition, Roselle Village Community Garage sale is on 10 & 11 June 2022. Those who are interested to feature on Roselle's Garage Sale Map can do so by visiting Village Hall on or before June 3rd, submitting the filled-in form along with a $5 fee for registration and newspaper ad. Annual Trails HOA Summer Bash to take place on Saturday 06 August 2022
Planning committee has announced that the Annual Summer Bash 2022 will be taking place on Saturday 06 August 2022. Planning is underway. We are inviting volunteers who can share more ideas, and help the HOA organize it. Please reach out to webmaster@thetrailsroselle.com if you are interested in volunteering.
Trails HOA Members' meeting 2022 was a washout due to the lack of sufficient poling.
It was a huge disappointment for all those present for the annual meeting on 25th April at the clubhouse. The meeting was called off at about 8:10 pm local time as the conducting committee didn't receive sufficient poling to meet the quorum. Hence, the current board will continue to function by default for an additional 1 year term ending in April 2023.

All members will receive ballots in their mail box in the course of the next month. All filled in ballots to be turned in sealed envelopes at the HOA Manager's office or using a proxy of your choice. Board elections for this year will be conducted for 5 seats on the board. Please look out for the Trails HOA mail packet in your mailbox.
Trails HOA to facilitate Recreational Sports Clubs
The Trails HOA is willing to facilitate recreational sports clubs from Spring through Fall of 2022 in order to bring the community together and have some fun after office and weekends. It would be a great platform to sharpen some sports skills, socialize with fellow community members, get to know each other, have fun and make some new friends. As a first step, we are conducting a survey to gather the data from all of its members to assess the interest and participation levels and take it to the next step. A Child was Spotted in Every Adult who participated in the SuperBowl Social
It was an evening filled with loads of fun, entertainment, loud cheer, food, drinks, laughs and a fantastic neighborhood social gathering. We couldn't see the bears in the SuperBowl but the SuperBowl is above any team. Its one of the things that unites this great nation and calls for a nationwide celebration. We celebrated it in our own style at the clubhouse with pizza, adult drinks, funny games etc. Participants and organizers were so busy enjoying and cheering for their team that no one could capture good photographs... :).

Holiday Lighting Contest Winner
We have a winner from the Holiday lighting contest. We had 7 contenders. We invited our residents itself to vote and select the winner. There was some tough competition but the majority of the residents Choose, 519 Isle Royal Bay's holiday lighting display as the winner.
Fitness Room Gets new Equipment
Trails fitness room had long been overdue for a makeover. The HOA recreation committee this year planned phase wise improvements after hearing requests and feedback from the resident members. As part of the first phase, they have setup a new punching bag, speed bag and replaced the aging elliptical machine with a latest and efficient model. In addition to that the Weight Training Machine is in perfect condition to give you a full body resistance training. There are two treadmills and a stationary bike for your cardio workouts. As you all know, users must sign a one time waiver (Download Form here) before they would use the fitness room and should hold an access card. You may contact the manager at Trails office to get an access card if you don't have one already. Additional phases of improvement will be undertaken based on the demand and usage of the current fitness room facilities.

Christmas Party brought in the much needed Cheer to this Holiday Season.
The Trails Association's social committee organized a beautiful Christmas Party to sign off the year 2021 and welcome the Holiday season. There was a huge turnout of kids and adults. Santa and his helper had a special location welcoming the kids and giving away the goodie bags. Families had the opportunity for Photo with Santa. Everything turned out beautiful. There was a small holiday bazaar. A balloon artist was giving away Sculpted & Customized Balloon Designs to all the little kids. A wide variety of cookies, popcorn, and juices were the treats. Trials HOA is conducting Christmas Toy Drive for the Pediatric Patients at AMITA Children's Hospital, Hoffman Estates.
To bring Cheer and Joy to the Pediatric Patients of AMITA Children's hospital, Hoffman Estates, during this post pandemic holiday season, Trails HOA is conducting a Holiday Toy Collection Drive from NOW until 10 December, 2021. The Collection box is placed in the ClubHouse. Please bring and drop off any Brand New & Unused Toys(Only) during the ClubHouse working hours any day before 10 December 2021.
Trails HOA would be using to Digital Communication as much as possible
The Trails HOA is switching to digital communication and urges all residents to register their email addresses, mobile phone numbers on the Trails HOA Portal right here. A detailed physical mailer regarding this matter, has been sent out to all residents earlier this month. A copy of the same can be downloaded from here.
ACC Application becomes Digitally Editable
Making it easier for all the residents, the ACC application form has been now converted into a digitally editable form. What it means is that any resident can download it and fill the form on a laptop which would be more reader friendly than handwriting. It can be downloaded from here or from the Forms & Information Section of this website. All you have to do is fill the form, print, sign, scan and send the scanned copy to acc@thetrailsroselle.com for faster review and response from the ACC committee. Those residents who still prefer to fill the form with handwritten information can use the same for printing and then filling the form by hand.
The Winner of the Halloween Themed Decoration Contest is the Bergen Family from 519 Isle Royal Bay
Six judges visited all the participating addresses at different times on different days. All the participating homes have shown great interest and enthusiasm to bring in the Halloween mood to the community. There were some very closely competing decorations. But the winner is the Bergen Family at 519 Isle Royal Bay. A must visit attraction if you are a Halloween fan. Its very colorful with beautiful lightings and a very wide spread of blown figures that span the entire walkway that leads from their garage to this corner home in the back. Have chosen a good theme with nice animations to top it up with such as a Ghost cat that waves the head, a Dragon that flaps its wings, a Ghost that keeps going in and out of its grave etc.. They even have a blown up scare house entrance.

Several Trails residents Explored their Artistic side
Trails Association is home for several families which have various interests. Painting is one among them. Those who wanted to learn how to paint and waited for an opportunity explored their artistic side and learnt how to paint while sipping some wine and had a blast of a time on 15 October 2021 at the Trails Clubhouse.

RPD Sargent attended the Trails HOA Board meeting on 09/23/21
Several homeowners and audiences participated in the Board meeting that the Trails HOA conducted on 09/23/21. An RPD Sargent also was present to address questions and concerns raised by the residents especially the speeding issue on E Woodfield Trail (The narrow stretch), speeding on Woodfield trail near the Nerge School, and usage of electric scooters on streets, need for additional parking and street parking, sidewalk on E Woodfield trail, etc. There were some very fruitful and informative conversations. Stay tuned for the minutes of the meeting that would be approved and published after a month from now. Trails HOA to run a contest for Best Halloween Out Door Decoration
This year, Trail HOA's social committee is bringing more cheer and liveliness to the community during the Halloween season. They announced a contest among the Home Owners and Residents for the best outdoor Halloween decoration. The contest is tentatively scheduled for 30 October 2021. The contest will be open to those homeowners who are willing to participate in the contest by registering themselves on our website. A link to the registration page will be published in a due course. Trails Garage Sale Weekend Saw increased Buyer Traffic
Hosting a Garage Sale after the long weekend is a great idea and it's proven once again. Trails Association hosted a three-day garage sale beginning 10th September 2021 until 12th September 2021. While the beginning was slow, we were told by several homeowners that they witnessed heavy traffic late Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. Saturday was the best day to let go. Our next community garage sale will be held in Spring 2022.
Kids had ice cream, goodies, and fun at the IceCream social party
The kids had a few surprises other than ice cream. Trails social committee put together a bunch of goodies who came in to have ice cream. Pathways leading to the meetup were decorated with beautiful and colorful balloons. Despite most of the social committee members being unavailable, the team on the ground did a fantastic job in running the event smoothly. They even had a DJ play some kids tunes. Doggie Swim Day was a Grand Success
Our Doggie Swim Day concluded our Pool Operations for the Season of 2021. We all had fun swim time during those very hot days of this summer. September 06. 2021 was even more special as we let our (Human's) best friends too take a dip in our pool. We had a fantastic turnaround and a great time.
